Phone Release Date – Not always The Announcement Date

Release date

Release date is most often quite different from announcement date, it is very important to note this because a lot of people visits the market once a company releases a new product, most often they will meet disappointment because the product is not yet in the market.

What Release Date Mean

Release date simply means the date the product enters the market, you can call it available date, quite different from announcement date,

Most times when you hear the announcement of a new Phone, it does not mean that phone will be in the market the day a company announced it. Mobile phone manufacturers normally announced the arrival of a new product to prepare the expectation of the masses.

Why The Announcement Date First

it’s good to know what you are about to buy before it comes out. it helps your decision on whether you really need the new product, The masses can also decide if it’s better than the old model or not.

It might or might not worth spending your money on. Hence the announcement serves a different purpose, it doesn’t mean it has been released. Sometimes it takes up to one or two years before the product is finally released after the announcement.

Release date means it’s now in the market.
